Prairie Wind and Silver Sage
Stop by the Little Brick Schoolhouse for a visit to our Saskatchewan pilot project ecomuseum focusing on the natural and cultural history of this region. Enjoy exciting art exhibitions, a great latté from our espresso bar, and our book shop full of Grasslands and prairie highlights. Friendly and helpful staff, fast public Internet, and gifts for all ages. Located on Centre Street.
Open May to September long weekend, 7 days a week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (closed for lunch). Open weekends from September long weekend to third weekend in September.
Palais Royale Movie Theatre
Experience our new HD projection and sound system! A great way to experience the charm of “small-town Saskatchewan.” This volunteer, community-run theatre has movies every Saturday night at 8:00 pm. Ask Grasslands Visitor Centre staff for information about the weekly movie. Please contact us for group rates, or private showings. Located at Centre Street and 1st Avenue.

Enjoying the wildlife and landscape of this unique area? Well then why not stop in and view some paintings of it! This local artist captures all the beauty of this pristine landscape and the wildlife that call it home in oil paintings that you can simply view, or buy and take home as a souvenir. Located at 103 1st Avenue E, next to the Village Complex.

Triple R Honey Ranch
Locally produced organic honey! Meet John and Kay and take a tour of their honey ranch. Learn about the extraction process, see honey in its comb and smell the sweetness of honey in the “hot room.”

Val Marie River Walk
Grab your camera and take a stroll along the Frenchman River banked with Prairie Cottonwood trees. This is an informal, ungroomed route and includes crossing two Texas gates. For your enjoyment and safety, please stop in at the Grasslands National Park Visitor Centre for more information.
